The ADHD National Alliance is a project of Contact a Family. It is not a parent support group but it seeks to act as a forum to raise awareness, exchange information and bring together all interested parties. The Alliance is a democratic parent, family and user led membership body. Free membership is offered to parents, adults and support groups.

CHADD: Children and Adults with Attention/Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder
Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD), is a US-based non-profit organization providing education, advocacy and support for individuals with ADHD. In addition to the informative Web site, CHADD also publishes a variety of printed materials to keep members and professionals current on research advances, medications and treatments affecting individuals with ADHD. These materials include Attention! magazine, the CHADD Information and Resource Guide to ADHD, News From CHADD, a free electronically mailed current events newsletter, as well as other publications of specific interest to educators, professionals and parents.
